When we moved to our new building we planned to also install a new lab for testing customer materials and to validate process solutions… and then we got very busy. Of course customer service and customer projects always got priority, but today, about 3 years later, we’re proud to announce that our new lab is fully installed and operational !
Our new set-up consists of 2 batch fluid bed systems. One FB for drying which can handle air flows up to 400°C and one dedicated FB for cooling. This allows for taking hot products out of the dryer and immediately cool them down so we can simulate process conditions like in a continuous FB with drying and cooling sections. Except for the higher temperature (our previous set-up was limited to 200°C), we now also have a state of the art control system with very accurate and reliable test readings. These results can then be extrapolated with high accuracy to a solution on industrial scale for which we can offer a performance guarantee to the customer.
We are now much better equipped than in the past to test almost any kind of product. Don’t hesitate to challenge us and get those samples sent over to us !
